"I've got a personality as big as..."

I'm so much of a blur these days, I'm surprised I'm still one compact organism.

I'm either in class, working on homework, doing research work, or at my actual paying job in bearland. Class/research/homework eat up the week and bearland owns my weekends.

However, I'm loving my research work. I like the idea of actually doing something rather than just learning and reading journal articles about it. I was chosen to actually run experiments, which is a challenge all its own learning the cohort and procedure for a 3 hour experiment (15 pages of material/dialogue to memorize - trust me, there's a reason I was not in plays in high school!). I'll also be analyzing the physio data from all the experiments which hasn't been done by an undergrad before. I'm excited just for the opportunity, and as corny and "teacher's pet" as it sounds, I'm happy that the grad students respect me and think highly enough of me to trust me in sharing their work. :) The research is actually about adolescent drug and alcohol use, so it's interesting and something that affects every person I come in contact with some way. I'm a bit of a competitive person too, so when my grad student advisor proposed me taking on graduate level work, I had to accept. I mean, what would Phil Zimbardo do, right? (Oh AP Psych, you ruined this man... he actually did some interesting things!)

But, the reason for my post is something created by the wonderful Jimmy Fallon. So, I'll admit my guilty pleasure is watching the Real Housewives series (I know, I know...), and now Jimmy Fallon has made a parody mini-series that airs on his Late Night show, and I must say it is hilarious and captures the basic element of the series. Enjoy!! :)

Marjorie, I love you.

And go you for doing grad level work as a junior! I'm so proud of you (and in total awe)! :D

P.S. I kind of love Jimmy Fallon. He's so awkward. I heart him!
