Let it snow...

For the past two weeks, the local meteorologists have been teasing us with winter weather advisories and the re-emergence of the horrific "white death" (which apparently resides in a cave in Alaska. Who knew?) However, they lied. There has been no epic amount of snow to trap us in our homes. All there has been is freezing temperatures and a few flurries. Clearly, this is quite unsatisfactory. It is January for goodness sake!

Is it any wonder that I'm in the mood for snow? Granted, it snowed a little this morning, but not enough to cover the ground and stay. Sigh...I want a blizzard!

Or at least a snow day.

I would not complain if we had a snow day. Of course, colleges frown upon such juvenile joys as snow days. In fact, colleges seek to destroy the sacred nature of the snow day by refusing to cancel classes.

Urgh. I want snow.

Normally, I hate the cold and the snow. I'd much rather it be spring time/early summer all year long.

But when there's so much snow outside that you can't go anywhere... it just makes me want curl up, drink coffee and read. So I'd be okay with a blizzard. :)
